Dr. York graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of California of Irvine. After completing graduate work in Medical Technology at Long Beach Memorial Hospital, she entered medical school, earning her Medical Degree at the University of Nevada.
Dr. York received her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. York has held the position of Vice Chair and Chair of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Section 7 District 9. Some of Dr. York’s other affiliations include medical advisor for Pfizer and Warner Chilcot.
Dr. York holds staff privileges at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange.
She is very experienced in advanced laparoscopic techniques including laparoscopic hysterectomy and excesion of ovarian masses. She also performs numerous organ prolapse repairs,
treatment for urinary incontinence and other bladder problems.
In her free time, Dr. York enjoys traveling, golf, gourmet
cooking and time spent with family, friends and her dogs.
Dr. Aszterbaum graduated cum laude with a B.S. in premedical science from the University of California-Irvine before earning her M.D. degree in 1986 at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her residency included the advance study and practice of state-of-the-art laser surgery techniques as well as high-risk obstetrics, infertility and gynecologic endocrinology under the guidance of renowned specialists at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Aszterbaum is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is a member of the Orange County Medical Society as well as the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She holds hospital staff privileges at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange and at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and Irvine. Dr. Aszterbaum speaks fluent Spanish. She was recently added to the 2002-2003 America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals.
She currently lives in Newport Coast with her husband and three children.
Dr. Wells graduated from the University of California at Irvine (1983-1987) receiving degrees in both biology and chemistry. She was a Cum Laude graduate in biology and was elected in the National Honorary Chemistry Society.
Dr. Wells attended medical school at St. Louis University (1987-1991) where she was a Cum Laude graduate. She was elected into Alpha Sigma Nu Honor Society and received a Scholarship Achievement Citation from the American Medical Women’s Association.
She trained in obstetrics and gynecology at the prestigious Barnes Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where she was selected to be an Administrative Chief Resident. She was awarded outstanding resident in gynecologic endoscopy by the American Association of Gynecologic Endoscopists, and was given the Wyeth-Ayerst Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement. She has performed research in infertility and has co-authored a chapter on obstetrics and gynecology in the Washington Manual of Surgery.
Dr. Wells is board certified. She is currently a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. She is on staff at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange and at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and Irvine.
In her free time, Dr. Wells enjoys Aikido, a martial art in which she holds a black belt, and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
Dr. Lisa Crane graduated cum laude from Howard University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, and a minor degree in Chemistry, and was elected to the Beta Kappa Chi Science honor society. She received her medical degree from the University of Rochester in New York during which time she published research involving resistance in an anti-leukemia agent Ara-C. Dr. Crane completed an internship at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in Internal Medicine. She then went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University in Washington D.C. where she was a Chief Resident and developed an interest in high risk obstetrics.
Before shifting her practice to Orange County, Dr. Crane
initially began private practice in the Inland Empire and was active in the Ob/Gyn community, supervising Ob/Gyn residents, as well as serving as Vice Chairman of the Ob/Gyn Department at Parkview and Riverside Community Hospitals.
Dr. Crane has remained active both in and outside of her community. In addition to volunteering time working as camp doctor at a local camp for underprivileged youths, she has also volunteered her time in several medical mission projects to areas such as Nicaragua, Nigeria, and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Crane is board certified, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She holds staff privileges at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and Irvine.
Dr. Mozayeni completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She received her medical degree with honors from Tehran University. She has published multiple articles in prestigious medical journals on hypertension.
Dr. Mozayeni has Board Certification from the Medical Board of California and she is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Mozayeni brings over four years of OB/GYN experience practicing in San Gabriel Valley, California.
Dr. Mozayeni’s knowledge of other languages besides English has allowed her to better understand and communicate with her patients who speak Spanish, Farsi, French and German.
